Kimchi Pizza

Kimchi Pizza

1 tbsp Gochujang sauce or 2 tbsp tomato sauce (I use tomato sauce in my recipe)

½ cup Kimchi (squeezed of excess juice) – save the kimchi juice

½ tsp sesame oil

1 lb dough (check out yesterday recipe on how to make pizza dough)

½ small onion, chopped

¼ cup mushroom, sliced

½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1 medium tomato, sliced

  1. Preheat the oven at 425F.

  2. In a bowl, mix Gochujang sauce or tomato sauce with enough kimchi juice and sesame oil to easily spread but not too watery.

  3. Roll the dough out until it is less than ¼” thick. Use a spoon to spread the sauce on the dough.

  4. Top the pizza dough with kimchi, mushroom, onion and cheese.

  5. Bake for 12 - 15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Remove from the oven, top with tomatoes, slice and serve hot!
