French toast

Classic French Toast

- 2 eggs

- 1/2 cup skim milk

- 1 tsp vanilla extract,

- 1/4 tsp cinnamon

- a pinch grated nutmeg

- 4 slices stale bread

- Maple syrup to serve

- Powdered sugar to serve

1. In a shallow dish, whisk the eggs with the milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

2. Heat a large pan over medium heat and spray some oil. Add the bread into the egg mixture and let it soak on each side. Place the bread into the pan and cook for about 1-2 mins each side or until browned. Continue with the rest of the bread.

3. Serve warm with a drizzle of maple syrup and some powdered sugar.
