St. Patrick's Day Green Smoothie

1 1/2 cups raw baby spinach
1/2 small avocado
1 cup unsweetened almond, soy or dairy milk (I used skim milk)
1/2 small frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1tbsp peanut butter or 2 ounce tofu (I used peanut butter)
1 tbsp flax seed, chia seed or hemp hearts (optional, add for extra fiber on St. Patrick's Day)
½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a large blender/magic bullet and blend until smooth. Add ice or liquid for your desired consistency.
